This 2.4m x 2.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate is a really useful addition to Palisade Security Fencing systems as it allows smaller sized vehicles like forklifts to pass in and out of a site when authorised to do so. The palisade gate swings open to create a driving space of 2.0m When the gate is not being used for pedestrian or vehicle access, it is secured with a sliding bolt and a drop bolt and effectively merges with the fencing structure to help protect the location. For extra security, a Heavy Duty Padlock can be used to lock the palisade gate. This 2.4m high gate is appropriate for locations that are considered to have a high security risk.
As this gate, along with your Palisade Security Fencing System, can be installed on many different types of ground surfaces, you will need to make sure that you choose to use the right type of posts before starting construction. Bolt Down Posts should be used when this palisade gate is assembled on hard ground, for example concrete. Dig-In Posts should be used when this gate is assembled on softer types of ground like grass, although you will also need to use Postfix cement to set these posts into the ground. You can select your required posts when you place your order for this palisade gate.
Manufactured from cold rolled steel, this 2.4m x 2.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate offers great strength and durability and has the ability to remain stable during high winds. It is also very resilient to rust development, and this is due to it galvanised finish. This process of galvanisation conforms to BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standards and consists of the application of a protective zinc coating. In order to make this palisade gate more resilient to corrosion and damage, it can be provided with a Polyester Powder Coating finish. By doing this, your gate becomes more colourful as well as longer lasting. You can also find these options when ordering your Palisade Security Fencing System.
The pales in this palisade gate help to reduce opportunities for climbing and prevent intrusion of your site. There are a variety of pale types that you can choose from and each of these make climbing very difficult. Some pales contain an intimidating pointed design and others contain a round or flat design, which is considered safer and less imposing. The gate pales also possess a profile which is ‘W’ in shape and the purpose of this is to make gripping the pales difficult. All of these customisation options are also available when choosing your Palisade Security Fencing System.
Each 2.4 x 2.0m single leaf palisade gate will have a galvanised finish and triple pointed pales as standard when supplied. However, you can change these features by customising your gate when you place your order.
Every 2.4m x 2.0m Single Leaf Palisade Gate that we sell is supplied as an assembly kit. Each kit will contain all of the necessary components for your gate including posts, pales and bolt fixings. By ordering a gate kit, the amount of time taken to place your order is effectively reduced as items do not need to be purchased individually. Please note that Postfix cement and Ground Anchor Bolts are not supplied within any of our gate kits, so will need to be ordered separately.
We have a range of customisation options available at the top of this page which allow you to tailor your gate so that it meets your specific requirements. These options are Pale type, Post type, finish and the addition of a Heavy-Duty Padlock.
