A fantastic looking single leaf gate system, the 2.4m high single leaf standard vertical bar railing gate kits provide a strong and effective point of access for outdoor fencing or railing perimeters. This range of metal vertical bar gates are available in widths ranging from 2.0m to 5.0m, which allows them to be used for a range of applications including front or back garden gates as well as use in public spaces such as parks and playgrounds.
To ensure that these gates will remain strong, reliable and looking great for years, they have been constructed using superb quality galvanised steel to our highest possible standards by a dedicated team of expert fabricators. The zinc galvanised coating acts as a protective barrier against weathering and rust whilst also leaving the gate with a great looking silver finish.
In order to prevent the gate leaf from blowing open when not in use and potentially causing damage to the gate itself, property or even injury to passers-by, each 2.4m high single leaf vertical bar railing gate is supplied with a sliding latch gate leaf and a catch post. The sliding latch can be locked, preventing it from being opened by unauthorised people with the use of a heavy-duty padlock (sold separately).
If the gate leaf needs to be opened for extended periods of time, the drop bolt can be used to prevent it from blowing closed, again preventing damage or injuries from occurring. The drop bolt can also be used to help securely hold the gate closed when it is not in use.
The 2.4m high single leaf standard vertical bar metal railing gates are available with either dig in or bolt down posts, allowing them to be installed in a wide range of outdoor spaces to meet your needs.
Dig in posts – the dig in posts are suitable for locations where the ground type is soft enough for holes to be dug easily. This type of post is longer than the bolt down version, allowing the posts to be placed into the hole and then held securely in place with post mix (sold separately)
Bolt down posts – The bolt down posts are designed for use in locations where the ground type may be too hard for holes to be dug easily. This type of post has a base plate which allows the ground anchor bolts (sold separately) to securely hold the posts in place.
Each of these high quality 2.4m high vertical bar standard railing gates is finished with a galvanised zinc coating as standard. These great looking silver finishes help to protect the steel from the damaging effects of weathering and rust.
If you require a little more colour with your gates, it is also possible to order them with a professionally applied Polyester Powder Coating (PPC). These fantastic looking and hard-wearing coatings are available in a wide range of RAL colours. As well as looking great, these coatings also add a second layer of protection to the steel, increasing its resistance to rust and corrosion.
(Please note: lead times apply for PPC finishes, please see the colour options for updated lead times or contact our friendly and helpful sales team for more information or for custom colours)
If in the unfortunate event that the Polyester Powder Coatings should become damaged, either through accidents during installation or through acts of vandalism, it is possible to restore the coating and the protection it provides with the use of a quick and easy to use touch up spray can.
A gate restrainer is a highly effective safety accessory which can help to reduce the risk of accident or injury to gate users. These incredibly strong braided stainless steel cables attach to the gate and the hinge post and, as the name implies, they ‘restrain’ the gate leafs preventing them falling in the unfortunate event of a gate hinge failure.
