This 1.8m x 2.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gate is a really useful addition to Palisade Fencing systems which need to provide an access point to small vehicles. Containing two gate leaves which are 1.0m wide each, this Palisade Gate is suitable for vehicles like forklifts. These gate leaves meet in the middle when closed and are secured by a sliding bolt and two drop bolts, which insert into the ground. There is also the opportunity to supply further security to your Palisade Gate by locking it with a Heavy-Duty Padlock, which is available from the customisation section above.
Standing 1.8m high, this Palisade Gate is more suitable for areas which are considered to be a low security risk. This security gate may be erected on sloping ground or level ground and on a variety of ground types. If you intend to erect this gate on soft ground types for example grass, you will require Dig-In Posts along with Postfix cement. However, if you plan to erect this gate on harder ground types like concrete, then Bolt Down Posts will be appropriate for this.
This Palisade Gate is manufactured using a cold rolling process to mould the steel into shape, making it more lightweight, but still very strong. The Palisade Gate is also given a protective finish against rust, which is carried out by of the application of a zinc coating. This is called galvanisation and it effectively meets BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standards. You can also polyester powder coat your Palisade Gate to give it better protection from damage and corrosion. This type of finish also gives your Palisade Gate a brighter appearance and you can choose from several RAL colours in the order section of this page.
There are several pales which feature within this Double Leaf Palisade Gate and these are designed to hinder climbing attempts as much as possible. Each pale has a ‘W’ shaped profile, and this makes them very difficult to climb. We supply our 1.8m x 2.0m Double Leaf Palisade Gates with Triple Pointed Pales and a galvanised finish as standard. If you wish to change these gate features, you can do so by opting for different customisation options.
There are many different parts and fixings that are needed for the assembly of a Palisade Gate and this why we supply our gates as a kit. In each kit you will receive the right quantity of posts, pales, fixings bolts, hinges and drop bolts, along with a sliding bolt and gate frame. Postfix cement is not supplied in any of our Palisade Gate kits so this will need to be bought separately if required.
